The Creative Colour Painting Process

For Kitchen Cabinets:

Setup:
• Customer Empties All Cabinets of Dishes, Glasses, Etc.
• Doors & Knobs Are Removed
• The Room Is Cleared & All Surrounding Areas, Cabinet Interior & the Flooring Are Carefully Covered with Plastic, Tape, Paper, & Drop Cloths
• A "Clean Room" Is Set Up In The Garage (If Available) To Spray All Doors And Drawers.

Preparation:
• All Areas to Be Finished Are Thoroughly Cleaned to Remove All Surfaces Contaminates
• All Areas to Be Finished Are Thoroughly Sanded to Promote Adhesion

Finishing:
• Depending on the Customer's Design, All Carcasses, Doors, & Drawers Are Sealed, Shaded, Glazed, & Finish Coated with the Very Best Professional Quality Sealers, Lacquers or Conversion Varnishes
• A Commercial Air Scrubber Is Used at All Times to Minimize Odor & Disruption in the Household

Cleanup:
• All Masking Is Removed
• Floors & Carpets Are Thoroughly Vacuumed & Swept
• Doors & Drawers Are Replaced & Knobs Are Installed
• "Clean Room" Is Taken Down & All Debris Is Removed from Premises

Inspection:
• Before the Crew Packs up Their Equipment, a Walk-around Is Done
• Final Touch-ups Are Noted on a 'Punch List' & Are Completed before the Crew
• "Customer Comment Card" Is Completed by the Customer
• Payment Is Received


For Interior Painting:

Setup:
• Rooms & Areas to Be Painted Are Scheduled with the Customer

• Large Furniture Is Moved into the Center of the Room
• Furniture Is Covered with Plastic
• Floors Are Covered with Drop Cloths

Preparation:
• Walls Are Scuff-Sanded If Needed

• Holes & Cracks in Walls Are Filled
• Gaps in Trim Are Caulked
• Washing Is Done Where Required

Painting:
• Repaired Areas Are Primed

• Paint Is Applied with a Brush, Roller or Sprayer Depending on the Surface
• Ceiling & Walls Are Painted to Proper Coverage & Finish Color
• Clean Cut Lines between Trim & Walls

Cleanup:
• Furniture Is Moved Back to Original Positions
• Floors & Carpets Are Thoroughly Vacuumed & Swept
• All Garbage Is Removed
• Touch-up Paint Is Labeled & Left with the Customer

Inspection:
• Before the Crew Packs up Their Equipment, a "Wet Walk-Around" Is Done
• Final Touch-ups Are Noted on a 'Punch List' & Are Completed before the Crew Leaves
• "Customer Comment Card" Is Completed by the Customer
• Payment Is Received


For Exterior Painting:

Setup:
• Pressure Washing Is Available upon Request
• Delicate Areas Are Hand-Washed
• Loose Paint Chips & Debris Are Cleaned up
• Areas Cleaned Are Given Time to Dry

Pre-Paint Preparation:
• All Loose Paint Is Removed, All Bare Areas Are Primed
• All Surfaces That Will Not Be Painted Are Covered to Protect against Splatter & Drips
• Outdoor Furniture Is Removed & Covered If Necessary
• Glossy Areas Are Scuff-Sanded to Allow for Proper Adhesion
• If Necessary, Areas around Doors & Windows Are Caulked
• Feather-Sanding & Stripping Done on Request

Painting:
• Full Finish Coat Is Applied to Proper Coverage & Finish
• Paint Is Applied with a Brush, Roller, or Sprayer Depending on the Surface
• Second/Third Coat Is Available upon Request or When Specified on the Contract

Cleanup:
• Cleanup Is Preformed Daily, All Garbage Is Removed from the Job
• Touch-up Paint Is Labeled & Left with the Customer
• Outdoor Fixtures & Furniture Are Put Back to Their Original Positions

Inspection:
• Before the Crew Packs up Their Equipment, a "Wet Walk-Around" Is Done
• Final Touch-ups Are Noted on a 'Punch List' & Are Completed Before the Crew Leaves
• "Customer Comment Card" Is Completed by the Customer
• Payment Is Received
